CFC Croisières

Ecommerce website front end created for french cruise company based on agency-supplied visuals.

CFC Croisières

Compagnie Française de Croisières (CFC), a french cruise company whose operations were scaled-down during the pandemic, needed a new ecommerce website. Working with an agency who supplied the visuals, I developed the website’s front end which was then integrated into the database and APIs by their in-house development team.

Using the ProcessWire open source CMS and a relatively small number of page layouts, the product listing & product detail pages use a series of intuitive off-canvas drawers, galleries, and carousels which simplify the selection process for the user.

Modular HTML & SCSS

Web layouts are moving away from rigidly-defined templates — which can become space-filling exercises — and towards more flexible, modular components, which can be inserted or removed based on user needs. From modular SASS architecture, to BEM & Atomic Design, to Modular CMS architecture, modular design allows you to iterate and improve without having to worry about development times or having things break.
